It seems an introduction is in order.

To start, my name is Shaun and I’m a citizen of Ohio. I’m thirty-six years old and have always had a deep interest in two things. The first is why humans function the way they do, and I feel there will never be solid answer to that which keeps the curiosity and interest in place. This led me to taking an interest in psychology with an added hobby of observing my fellow humans, its past and the present.

The other thing that’s always captured me is why things are the way they are. This led me to the occult in my early twenties. Science manages to explain the ground work and physical properties; whereas the occult scratches that other part of my curiosity itch.

I’m deciding to change this blogs purpose from exploring the mind, and using instead for short stories. These stories can be downright brutal or hopeful. I’m looking to find my “voice” so to speak with many of the settings being in current America. In this particular realm, the veil has been thinned enough for creatures from the other side to fully cross over, and “play” with humanity so to speak. But it has also allowed for some surprising events stemming from humans themselves.
